Help Us Track Ocean Temperatures 🌡️ along Vietnam’s Coast!

Hey everyone! SDC is running Coral Watch Vietnam, a community-driven citizen science project dedicated to recording sea surface temperatures along our coastline. Our goal is simple: map temperature variations over time and make this data 100% free and accessible to marine biology researchers worldwide working to understand and protect Vietnam’s coral reefs.

To make this work, we need your help! The power of this project comes entirely from our local diving community.

How You Can Help (It Takes Almost 0️⃣ Effort!):

• Got a digital logbook? If you use a dive computer or app (like Shearwater, Subsurface, Garmin, etc.) that exports to UDDF format, you can simply send us your UDDF file! We can extract the temperature profiles from your past dives automatically.

• Logging manually after each dive? Just share your logged dive depths, locations, and water temperatures with us using the form below.

Whether you have 5 dives or 500 dives logged, every single entry helps build a clearer picture of our marine environment.
